Universal Receiver Sizing
The Universal Receiver is made in different lengths to fit a variety of smaller Jon Boats with a maximum beam width of 60″. Sizes are 50″, 55″, and 60″. To size your Jon Boat for a Universal Receiver, first, measure your boat at it’s widest point from outside to outside of the gunwales. Measuring at the widest point gives you the option to place the Universal Receiver anywhere on your boat that is comfortable.

*Many* Jon Boat gunwales are round. Clamps should securely clamp into place, but under circumstances that they do not fasten securely we include bolt-on gunwale adapters for these applications. Simply mount the gunwale adapters to the interior of the boat gunwales at the location you want to mount your stabilizers. This creates an aggressive lip for the clamps to mount to. In cases where your Jon Boat does not have any gunwales our bolt-on gunwale adapters will need to be used.
