Canoe/Kayak Portage Cart
$335.00 – $385.00

The Spring Creek Manufacturing Portage Cart is made from durable lightweight aluminum and stainless steel with vinyl covered supports.
Portage Carts come with your choice of 12″ Solid “Flat-Free Airless Tires” or 16″ Inflatable Wheels. It is recommended that the 12″ Wheels be used on smooth paths. For rougher terrain we recommend 16″ Wheels.
The Spring Creek Portage Cart is extremely well made for years of easy portaging. The Portage Cart quickly assembles and disassembles for compact storage. Wheels fold in like an airplane’s. The No-Axle design gives you high ground clearance. The handle acts as a kickstand support. The Bunks adjust to any distance spacing along the 30″ wide top bar.
It is designed to be towed by a person while holding onto the end of your canoe or kayak.
The wheels should ideally be placed a third of the way from the back of your canoe or kayak to balance your load and for easier rolling.
The cart comes with 7′ long tie-down straps.
Can carry 1 canoe or kayak.
Load Limit 250 lbs.

I received the portage cart and like the stabilizer kit I purchased 2 yrs ago, it was designed well and is compact. Thanks Spring creek. Job well done.

I purchased the portage cart with 16″ wheels to handle my 20ft long Bell Northshore canoe. I’ve been down enough “mechanized” portages, forest roads, and State Park trails with the canoe on my back to think – hmmm, is there a better way? I think the portage wheels are the answer. I can keep all the fishing gear and loose paddles in the boat when portaging with a big family and lots of gear. I don’t have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, but now I have this cart instead to get me into the backcountry lakes I don’t want to try driving to.
I’ve also used the portage wheels around the house to transfer an awkward, 120lb workbench from my basement up into the backyard. The cart was perfect for the job.
Thank you, Spring Creek, for the excellent customer service too.

We have a Lifetime Canoe. Heavy and wide pulling it up hill is tough, but with this cart, it makes it much easier!
